Blu-ray production is usually given more time to improve the image quality, but in Cop Craft, we are still able to find lots of evidence which suggests the entire project is rushed. One or two scenes may even have colour space conversion errors. To minimise the impact of those too distracting colour bands, we applied relatively aggressive de-banding.
As for the rare aliases, we applied normal-strength AA, just to make sure the lines appear more consistent. A conservative self-adaptive sharpening filter was also used to improve the perceived visual quality yet without changing the art style too much. Lastly, although this anime looks blurry throughout, because there are so many dark scenes, we made the file size large enough to save the grains and to avoid introducing colour bands.
