The line art does not have enough clarity and contrast. We first descaled the video back to 720p, then fixed the problems such as chroma shift, and applied some compensatory sharpening and other fixes to the line art afterwards. Since the tone of the source leans to desaturated and dark, we darkened the line art a bit to improve visual contrast during the compensatory sharpening process.
Finally, we rescaled the line art back to 1080p. For the planar parts, we applied an appropriate amount of de-banding, then compensated the sharpness.
