Dear Tom,
Here comes a piece of good news(来好消息了). The Campus Culture Festival will be hosted this Friday. Since you have a strong passion for Chinese folk art, it’s a great pleasure for me to invite you to join us.
The activity is scheduled to last about two hours, from 3: 30 pm to 5: 30 pm in the school hall, which covers a wide variety of content. Not only can we appreciate numerous appealing weaving works ranging from chairs and tables to various decorations(我们不仅能够欣赏到许多吸引人的编织艺术作品, 从桌椅到各种装饰品不一而足), but also we’ll watch the documentary concerning(有关的) the history of the weaving art.
In addition, some distinguished professors(一些著名教授)will be invited to deliver lectures about how to promote the development of the weaving art(如何促进编织艺术的发展), during which time you will definitely gain a better understanding of it(在这期间你一定会对它有更好的了解). By the way, if you are available, we’ll meet at three outside the school gate.
