彭博社记者：美国国防部助理部长称，正在寻找新的方法以遏制中国和俄罗斯等国对美国造成的国家安全威胁。中方对此有何评论？
Bloomberg: The Pentagon is looking for new ways to deter national security threats from countries such as China and Russia, according to the US Assistant Secretary of Defense. Does China have any comments on these moves from the Pentagon? 汪文斌：我们多次指出，美方一些人反复拿所谓“中国威胁论”说事，这不过是为美国自己扩充军力寻找借口而已。我们敦促美方摈弃过时的冷战思维和意识形态偏见，把不搞“新冷战”的表态落到实处，为维护世界和地区和平稳定多做实事，而不是相反。
Wang Wenbin: As we have pointed out many times, some people in the US have repeatedly cited the so-called “China threat” rhetoric as an excuse to justify its expansion of military strength. We urge the US to abandon its outdated Cold War mentality and ideological bias, honor its pledge of not seeking a new Cold War, and do more to safeguard regional and global peace and stability, rather than the opposite.
