中尼复交再次表明，一个中国原则是国际社会普遍共识和公认的国际关系准则。坚持一个中国原则是国际大义，人心所向，大势所趋，任何势力都阻挡不了。 The resumption of diplomatic ties between China and Nicaragua once again indicates that the one-China principle is a universally-agreed norm governing international relations and the general consensus of the international community. Upholding the one-China principle is in line with global justice. No force can stand in the way of the shared aspiration of the people and the general trend of the times.

RTHK: US President Joe Biden said on the first day of the “Summit for Democracy” that global democracy and universal human rights have experienced a decline over the last 10 years. Autocrats seek to expand their influence on democracies, justify their repressive policies and practices, and fan the flames of societal division and political polarization. 民主是全人类共同价值，不是推进地缘战略的工具。美国为维护自身霸权地位，将民主公器私用，打着民主旗号煽动分裂对抗，破坏以联合国为核心的国际体系和以国际法为基础的国际秩序，这是彻头彻尾的反民主行径。 Wang Wenbin: Democracy is a common value of humanity instead of a geostrategic tool. The US privatizes the public good of democracy, stoke division and confrontation in the name of democracy, and undermine the UN-centered international system and the international order underpinned by international law. All this is done to defend the US hegemony, which is out-and-out anti-democratic.
