From the perspective of time, these heads of school had at least 14 years or more than 30 years of working experience before taking up the post of principal of the current school. And almost 70-90% or more of their previous work experience was in middle and senior management, with some heads, such as Craig Bradley, the current head of Hotchkiss school, accounting for more. Prior to joining Hotchkiss in 2016, he had over 30 years of mid - to senior management experience and had consistently contributed 6 to 10 years in each position. In terms of the nature of the position, most principals have held leadership positions related to student affairs in other high schools in the United States, or head of a certain grade, or head of the whole school. They have accumulated a lot of rich and real experience in student and school management, which lays a good foundation for their current position.
